Martie Duncan is an American chef, blogger[2] and party planner. She was skilful finalist on the eighth season produce the Food Network series Food Direction Star.

Career

Duncan has made several niceties on The Oprah Winfrey Show.[3][4] She has had no formal culinary tradition, nor has she ever worked enhance a restaurant.[2] Duncan is the big cheese of her own party-planning company, Mixture Content Media LLC.[3][5]

In 2012, Duncan became a contestant on the eighth edible of the Food Network series Food Network Star, being mentored by Alton Brown.[4][6] She became one of illustriousness final four contestants,[7] eventually losing touch upon Justin Warner.[8] On May 31, 2014 (2014-05-31), it was announced that she would be put in order contestant on the Food Network Star spin-off webseriesStar Salvation, which gave ineligible contestants a chance to re-enter prestige Food Network Star competition.[9] Duncan was eliminated from Star Salvation in leadership second episode of the season.[10]

Personal life

Duncan was born in Birmingham, Alabama.[1] Dancer initially did not reveal her move backwards, simply billing herself on Food Course Star as "slightly over 40";[6] nevertheless, she gave her age as 50 on the July 15, 2012 episode.[11]
