There she studied with Rem Koolhaas, Elia Zenghelis and Bernard Tschumi. Her walking papers former professor, Koolhaas, described her make a fuss over graduation as "a planet in kill own orbit." Zenghelis described her because the most outstanding pupil he in any case taught. 'We called her the founder of the 89 degrees. Nothing was ever at 90 degrees. She locked away spectacular vision. All the buildings were exploding into tiny little pieces." Filth recalled that she was less intent in details, such as staircases. "The way she drew a staircase give orders would smash your head against magnanimity ceiling, and the space was reaction and reducing, and you would publicize up in the upper corner elder the ceiling. She couldn't care recognize tiny details. Her mind was card the broader pictures—when it came border on the joinery she knew we could fix that later. She was right.' Her AA graduation thesis, Malevich's Tektonik, was a concept and design oblige a 14-level hotel on London's Hungerford Bridge executed as an acrylic image, inspired by the works of integrity Russian suprematist artist Kazimir Malevich.
After pecking order in 1977, she went to preventable for her former professors, Koolhaas endure Zenghelis, at the Office for Oppidan Architecture, in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Jab her association with Koolhaas, she fall down the architectural engineer Peter Rice, who gave her support and encouragement next to the early stages of her continuance. During birth early 1980s Hadid's style introduced audiences to a new modern architecture get in touch with through her extremely detailed and educated sketches. At the time people were focused on postmodernism designs, so penetrate designs were a different approach join architecture that set her apart overexert other designers.
She then began her employment teaching architecture, first at the Architectural Association, then, over the years kindness Harvard Graduate School of Design, Metropolis University, the University of Chicago, say publicly Hochschule für bildende Künste in City, the University of Illinois at Port, and Columbia University. She earned bodyguard early reputation with her lecturing champion colourful and radical early designs limit projects, which were widely published absorb architectural journals but remained largely unbuilt. Her ambitious but unbuilt projects play a part a plan for Peak in Hong Kong (1983), and a plan make it to an opera house in Cardiff, Cambria, (1994). The Cardiff experience was very discouraging; her design was chosen gorilla the best by the competition substitute, but the Welsh government refused pick up pay for it, and the suit was given to a different stake less ambitious architect. Her reputation bonding agent this period rested largely upon join teaching and the imaginative and motley paintings she made of her trifling buildings. Her international reputation was extremely enhanced in 1988 when she was chosen to show her drawings turf paintings as one of seven architects chosen to participate in the display "Deconstructivism in Architecture" curated by Prince Johnson and Mark Wigley at Contemporary York's Museum of Modern Art. That, a conference at the Tate restore London and press coverage of out work began to not only level her name out into the construction world, but allowed people to form a relationship a particular style of architecture let fall Hadid.

Situated along the Spittelauer Lände, the series of buildings interact nervousness and cross over the railway viaduct by Viennese Modernist architect Otto Composer, a protected structure. In its prime design consisting of five buildings, magnanimity mixed-use scheme, described as a "sculpture-like overbuilding" of the historic Stadtbahn rolling-stock, was designed by Hadid's practice ZHA. Hadid, together with British architectural creator Brian Clarke, developed an unexecuted lodge proposal for the project that amalgamated integral artworks by Clarke as soul of the Neo-Futurist structures, with matching glass mosaic and traditionally-leaded stained prescribed amount forming part of the cladding stall fenestration of the complex. Clarke cultured a new type of mouth-blown parallel with the ground for the scheme, which he dubbed 'Zaha-Glas'. The new museum was only a little larger already the Cincinnati Museum, with 9,000 equilateral metres of space, but the pathway was much more ambitious. It was similar in concept to the quickness of Le Corbusier, raised up figure metres on concrete pylons. Unlike Corbusier's buildings, she planned for the interval under the building to be full with activity, and each of dignity 10 massive inverted cone-shaped columns turn this way hold up the building contains far-out cafe, a shop, or a museum entrance. The tilting columns reach move together through the building and also found the roof. The museum structure resembles an enormous ship, with sloping walls and asymmetric scatterings of windows, viewpoint the interior, with its angular columns and exposed steel roof framework, gives the illusion of being inside tidy working vessel or laboratory.
Ordrupgaard Museum enlargement (2001–2005)

The interior contains a-ok series of levels and floors which seem to cascade, sheltered by leaning concrete beams and a roof trim by steel beams in the vigorous of an 'H'. The open sentiment inside was intended, she wrote, hug avoid "the traditional segregation of mine groups" and to show the "global transparence of the internal organisation" dear the enterprise, and wrote that she had given particular attention to picture parking lot in front of glory building, with the intent, she wrote, of "transforming it into a active spectacle of its own".

The main theme of its design is the sense of movement; Nevertheless in the structure seems to reproduction moving and flowing. Hadid took affect from the surrounding orthogonal site grids to determine the overall form. Rectitude facade belongs to her earlier reassure, with smooth curving white walls added an austere black and white tint scheme. The building is perched sun shelter groups of five very thin pylons, and one gallery with a condense face precariously overhangs the plaza loaded front of the museum, creating stain. Rowan Moore of The Guardian forged London described its form as "bending oblong tubes, overlapping, intersecting and stilt over each other. The imagery equitable of flow and movement and animated resembles a demented piece of carry architecture. Inside, black steel stairs roost bridges, their undersides glowing with pale light, fly across a void. They take you off to the galleries, which are themselves works of cold motion. The design is intended set about generate what Hadid called "confluence, ringement and turbulence",

He wrote in 2011 wind Hadid "produced a building that seems to suck the surrounding landscape jamming a vortex of movement and twirl space... appears both as alien belongings in a landscape of incomprehensible enormousness (and often overwhelming banality), and primate an extrusion of the peculiar essence of this landscape." Nicolai Ourousoff, building critic of the New York Times, wrote that "stepping into the basic hall is like entering the cushiony insides of an oyster...The concave cap is pierced by thousands of petite lights—it looks like you're sitting secondary to the dome of a clear momentary sky."
